Cheshire Cat Sportive 2010.

There are a few of us who are entering the Cheshire Cat on the 28th March 2010 and it would be good to get a group to go.  If you want to get an early season 100 miler in then details are below.  They have already had over 1000 entries but they are still taking more.

  Thanks, Duncan.

Overview

The 2010 cyclosportive season proper starts right here with the fourth  edition of the Cheshire Cat cyclosportive. Since 2007 supply has outstripped demand for participant places and the capacity for entries has again been increased - every year hundreds of people tell us how they really wanted to ride but missed out. For 2010 we have moved the event HQ to the prestigious Crewe Alexandra Stadium next to the famous arrive from anywhere railway station...And if you do arrive by car with bike on the back there are thousands of easy, safe parking spaces in nearby car-parks. Shortly before your ride well give you access to all the information about preparing, arriving and participating to ensure you get the most from your personal challenge. The HQ is just a few minutes from the M6 junctions 16 or 17.

Routes
Weve improved the routes again this year and weve kept all the best bits of previous Cat routes in. If you ve ridden the Cheshire Cat before you may well recognise some of the beautiful Cheshire lanes - and you will also experience new challenges as we take you through some different parts of beautiful Cheshire. We take you a little further west where
Cheshire borders onto North Wales and the Marches
near the River Dee. The routes have everything - some have fierce climbs like Mow Cop, flat plain, undulating lanes, pretty villages or open moorland. We have routes for everyone; an option for the serious sportive rider with a tough, but not too tough, early season 100 miler. We also have a challenging yet not too tough 45 miler with one nice climb and a feedstation half-way round. Ever thought about riding a cyclosportive and wondered just how and where to begin? - well dont get lead down the garden path, on yer bike with KILO TO GO!...this fully supported option might be right up your street. No matter what you are looking for in a challenging bike ride you’ll find the Cheshire Cat 2010 has it all.
