March 6th, Eddie Soens Classic and weekend Action.
The Eddie Soens Classic.
The Eddie Soens was dominated by the juniors on Saturday who blasted across their gap to the Elites and hung on to fill the podium places. It's a good race to make a name for yourself and despite a list of big name winners, once in a while, a canny bike rider can pull the shorts over the heads of the best riders in the country. Rob Crampton was in there and sprinted to third place, a top result for a young man destined for bigger things. Well done Rob. CR.

Not in the same league as the above result, but a win all the same, Jason Pickford was fastest veteran in saturdays Chelford 10. Hopefully, Jason will go on to take some much more prestigeous scalps as the season goes on. It would be nice to see him do justice to his status as club Road Race Champion and win at least one CDNW. CDNW - TREALES
More results coming in with our newer Racing members, Ben Hookway and Jack Cousins. Racing the 3/4 event at treales on Sunday, we have no details of the event but two good placings saw Ben with 8th and jack in 12th, keep up the good work. WW.
