THE RIVINGTON 100

SUPPORTING BOLTON LADS & GIRLS CLUB

Sunday 13th June 2010

What is it?

A 100 mile route (52 mile route also available) which will include many famous climbs such as the Nick of Pendle as used in the tour of Britain and also some sections of the commonwealth Games Road Race 2002. The day will have over 10,000ft of climbing so it is not for the faint hearted. The route will take you through the stunning countryside of Lancashire and Bowland Forest.

This year we are organising a 'King of the Mountain' trial along the 100 mile route - more details of this will be sent out to registered riders in due course

Why get involved?

What a great challenge and a fantastic motive to get fit. You will have to train hard, but the satisfaction of completing the event while raising money for charity is hard to beat.

How much is the entry?

We are setting the entry fee at £18 for registering before the event and £20 for any entry on the day. This is not being run as a sponsored event but if you would like to raise money for the Club via sponsorship we would be happy to provide the correct forms and details….every little helps!
