Will's Wheels cycling club takes its name from the Stockport based cycle shop owned by well known Cheshire cyclist Will Wright.  The associated name includes some sponsorship from the business as well as other local firms who have an interest with the club and its members.
    The club came into being some time in 2002 as a racing team.  It expanded with a blossoming of extreme tourist activities throughout 03/04.  The creation of regular club publications, race promotions and fully supported tours ensured lively activity in the years that followed.
    The club today has a healthy racing contingent with an impressive history of successes behind it.  There are weekend club runs to suit all levels and during the summer months, chain gangs burn rubber across the well trodden routes throughout Cheshire.  The club trips have continued successfully and our appetite for an adventure is as big as ever.
    The club is "British Cycling" and "Cycling Time Trials affiliated".  We have no committees or set agenda.  The driving force lies with the members and all of those willing to be involved, help out and most important of all, enjoy their cycling.  The club is open to all without obligation to do business with the cycle shop.  Anyone with a sunny disposition will find themselves welcome amongst any of our groups of racers, tourists, testers and dreamers.
